Mitsubishi Audio Systems
Mitsubishi audio systems are loaded with entertainment features, convenience features, security features, and much more. Everything you need, from hands-free functionality to updated navigation, is available when using a Mitsubishi audio system.
Mitsubishi Audio System Features
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
With the two leading smartphone platforms coming from Apple and Android, it only makes sense for Mitsubishi to include compatibility for both within their entertainment systems. Apple CarPlay integration allows you to seamlessly access your Apple smartphone features, apps, and music directly from the audio system's controls. Likewise, Android Auto integration lets you connect your Android smartphone for music, maps, messages, and more.
Fuse Hands-Free Link System
Reducing distractions while driving helps keep your attention on the road. Mitsubishi's Fuse Hands-Free Link system makes it possible for you to access media players and phones using only your voice. With this technology, you can make phone calls, look up destinations, and play your favorite music without taking your hands off the wheel.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Bluetooth technology allows wireless functionality that includes connecting your smartphone or other compatible devices to your Mitsubishi audio system, making hands-free calling and audio streaming convenient and simple.
SiriusXM
SiriusXM is one of the most popular satellite radio services available and can be accessed through many Mitsubishi audio systems. With hundreds of channels covering music, sports, news, and entertainment, SiriusXM offers a wide variety of listening options.
Gracenote Music Storage and Naming
If your Mitsubishi is equipped with an HDD navigation system and digital music server, Gracenote database updates help keep your music library information accurate and up to date.
Navigation Map Updates
Up-to-date navigation maps help drivers:
- Find efficient travel routes
- Reduce travel time
- Locate gas stations, restaurants, and points of interest
- Access updated address information
- Reduce unnecessary mileage
Mitsubishi Radio Codes
Mitsubishi strives to provide drivers with dependable audio technology, but occasionally a radio may require a security code after losing power. The most common reason this occurs is when the vehicle battery is disconnected, replaced, or loses power.
When this happens, the radio's anti-theft system may activate, and the display may show either:
- CODE
- OFF
To restore operation, you'll need to enter the Mitsubishi radio security code assigned to that audio system.
The radio security code is typically located on a card provided with the vehicle's owner's manual documentation. The card generally contains the four-digit code needed to reactivate the radio.
If the code card cannot be located, you may need the following information:
- Radio serial number
- Radio part number
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
With this information, a Mitsubishi dealership can often assist you in retrieving the correct radio security code.
