Terra Nostra Ristorante

Terra Nostra Ristorante is a traditional Italian restaurant known for its delicious seafood offerings. Everything on the Terra Nostra menu is made from scratch using fresh, local ingredients. Terra Nostra’s menu includes many pasta dishes, including their signature Al Pescatore, a traditional dish of shrimp, clams, mussels, squid, and lobster served over linguine in a spicy sauce. Fresh fish entrees include balsamic-roasted salmon, saffron shrimp risotto, and Chilean sea bass. 

Be sure to leave room for dessert. Terra Nostra offers Italian specialties such as tiramisu, creme brulee, cannolis, gelato, and fluffy chocolate souffle. Terra Nostra has a full bar and award-winning wine list, including Italian Barolos and Super Tuscans. Enjoy your meal or drink on Terra Nostra’s beautiful open patio.

Terra Nostra Ristorante is on San Carlos Boulevard, a few miles from Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel. Hours are 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Coste Island Cuisine

The relaxed vibe and coastal views make Coste Island Cuisine a favorite with locals and visitors alike. Menu items include Mongolian shrimp, mussels soffrito, bouillabaisse, and lobster carbonara. Check out one of Coste Island Cuisine’s craft cocktails, such as the toasted coconut mojito or salted caramel martini. Dessert options include gelato flights, cinnamon bread pudding, and tart key lime pie. After dinner, hang out in Coste Island Cuisine’s lounge area to enjoy live music. 

Coste Island Cuisine is in the Diamond Head Beach Resort on Estero Boulevard. The bar and Lounge are open from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Dinner hours are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Island View 

Every seat at Island View offers breathtaking views of Fort Myers Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Recently renovated, this upscale seafood restaurant features unique Italian fusion and seafood dishes. Appetizers are made in a large wood-fired oven imported from Italy and include charred octopus, grilled oysters, lobster mac and cheese, and tender escargot. Check out the Island View Signature Seafood Tower. This seafood tower, designed for sharing, includes snow crab claws, oysters, clams, Gulf shrimp, octopus, and ceviche. Main entrees include lobster ravioli, lobster tail, coconut shrimp, crab-stuffed fish, and traditional Italian fish stew. 

Island View has an extensive drinks menu and live music daily. Visit Island View on the sixth floor of the Lani Kai Island Resort on Estero Boulevard. Hours are from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Dixie Fish Company

Dixie Fish Company is an original Florida fish house from the 1930s, complete with a tin roof and open-air layout. This old-school restaurant is on Matanza’s Pass, a pass-through for shrimp boats. Despite its small size, Dixie Fish Company offers award-winning dishes including whole fried fish and beer-battered grouper. One of their most popular dishes is sauteed Florida shrimp served with a white wine cream sauce over fresh pappardelle pasta.

The patio area of Dixie Fish Company is home to live music most evenings. You can visit Dixie Fish Company on Fisherman’s Wharf. Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille

Doc Ford’s Rum Bar and Grille is known for its expansive menu, exciting live music, and relaxing views.
