BDC Representative

Fort Myers Mitsubishi is looking for a full time BDC (Business Development Center) specialist to join our growing team. BDC representatives are responsible for monitoring internet and phone leads and providing client follow-up. You must be a customer-service oriented individual with excellent organization skills in order to manage incoming customers leads. You must also be comfortable making phone calls, sending texts and emails to prospective clients on a regular schedule. In this role you'll help increase overall sales for the dealership as you generate leads for the sales team.


Responsibilities include:

·         Respond to inbound internet and phone leads by phone, text message, and email and schedule sales appointments from those leads

·         Confirm scheduled appointments

·         Reschedule missed appointments

·         Contact and communicate with customers to identify needs to maintain and improve customer loyalty

·         Update customer's changes in the CRM

·         Assist with answering customer inquiries and concerns by routing customer to the appropriate contact person or department

·         Understand the terminology of the automobile business and keep abreast of technology changes

·         Follow all attendance and punctuality standards and adhere to timekeeping standards; Employees are required to record the beginning and end times of any shift, break or departure from work for personal reasons

·         Follow the Company Codes and Policies

·         Attend company meetings and training as required

·         Perform other tasks as assigned



·         Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required

·         Prior sales, call center, internet department or BDC experience preferred

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills, verbal and written

·         Strong computer & phone skills (Reports, Internet, MS Outlook, CRM)

·         Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors and staff

·         Professional appearance and work ethic

·         Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment

·         Must be able to work evenings, weekends

·         Current, valid driver's license

·         All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen
